Which Moneybags-taught ability lets Spyro dive underwater in Spyro 2?

The story behind the answer

In Spyro 2, Swimming is the Moneybags-taught ability that lets Spyro dive underwater.

Moneybags, the recurring bear character, charges Spyro Gems for access, assistance, and new abilities. During Spyro 2, he teaches three important moves: Swimming, Climbing, and Headbash. Swimming allows Spyro to enter underwater areas, dive for submerged treasure, and reach passages that are inaccessible from the surface.

The ability expands exploration throughout Avalar. Some underwater sections contain Gems, hidden routes, or objectives tied to a realm’s completion. Swimming is also distinct from temporary power-up abilities: a Powerup Gate may grant flight, supercharge, superflame, or another short-term power, but Swimming is a permanent skill learned from Moneybags.

Players sometimes confuse Swimming with diving itself, since the question describes what the move enables. In the game’s terminology, however, Swimming is the ability name. Supercharge is a separate movement power, Headbash breaks certain rocks and cages, and Climbing opens access to marked climbable surfaces.
