Which match is scheduled to complete the 2026–27 Premier League opening round on Monday?

Fulham vs Chelsea is scheduled to complete the 2026–27 Premier League opening round on Monday.

The match is set for Monday 24 August 2026, with Fulham hosting Chelsea at Craven Cottage. It is the only fixture listed for that Monday and therefore the final match of the opening round’s published programme.

The scheduling gives the round a four-day spread, beginning with Arsenal versus Coventry City on Friday and continuing through six Saturday matches and three Sunday matches. The Monday fixture is separate from the last Sunday game, Newcastle United versus Liverpool.

Fulham and Chelsea are both London clubs, and Craven Cottage lies close to the River Thames in west London. Chelsea are the visitors in this fixture; the reverse venue and order would describe a different match later in the season.
