Adolescence won Best Limited Series at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards after following a teenage murder investigation.
The British crime drama centers on 13-year-old Jamie Miller after he is arrested for the murder of a girl from his school. Its story examines the family, police, school, and psychological consequences surrounding the case.
The series was recognized as the ceremony’s top limited-series winner. Several of its performers also received awards at the same event, including Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, and Erin Doherty in acting categories.
Adolescence was created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham. Each episode was filmed to appear as one continuous shot, a demanding production approach that keeps the audience close to the characters and intensifies the unfolding investigation.
