LEGO set 75379 is a brick-built version of R2-D2.
The set was released in 2024 as part of LEGO’s Star Wars range. It presents the astromech droid as a display model rather than a conventional minifigure-scale play set. The model includes recognizable details from R2-D2’s film appearance, including his domed head, cylindrical body, and three-legged configuration.
R2-D2 is one of the most consistently represented characters in Star Wars merchandise. His compact silhouette works particularly well for toys, action figures, plush products, model kits, and construction sets. The LEGO set also includes a small R2-D2 minifigure, giving builders a miniature companion to the larger display model.
The number is easy to confuse with other LEGO Star Wars droid sets. LEGO has released brick-built versions of C-3PO, BB-8, and other astromech characters, but 75379 specifically identifies the R2-D2 model. It is therefore distinct from LEGO’s earlier R2-D2 display set, numbered 10225.
