LEGO Star Wars set 75318 The Child contains 1,073 pieces.
LEGO released the set in 2020, drawing on the popularity of The Child from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. The build creates a display figure with oversized ears, large eyes and a recognizable robe, and it includes a small information plaque and a miniature version of the character’s floating pram.
The character was widely nicknamed “Baby Yoda” by viewers, but the set’s official name is The Child. That distinction matters because the story initially withheld the character’s species and personal name. The character is later identified as Grogu in The Mandalorian.
The set is often confused with LEGO’s later Grogu-and-pram products. Those sets have different numbers and piece counts. Set 75318 is the substantial brick-built display model released during the first wave of merchandise inspired by the series.
