Which Lannister sibling is played by Lena Headey?

Lena Headey plays Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones. Cersei is a central member of House Lannister and becomes queen through her marriage to King Robert Baratheon.

In the television series, Cersei is portrayed as fiercely protective of her children, politically ambitious, and willing to use manipulation and violence to preserve her family’s power. Her relationship with her twin brother Jaime is one of the story’s major secrets and drives the succession crisis after Robert’s death.

Headey played the adult Cersei across all eight seasons, from the 2011 premiere through the 2019 finale. She earned five Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the role. The other options are related names from the wider story: Lysa is from House Arryn, Joanna is Cersei’s deceased mother, and Myrcella is her daughter.
