Which James Bond film features the song “Nobody Does It Better”?

The Spy Who Loved Me features the song “Nobody Does It Better.”

Written by Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager, “Nobody Does It Better” was performed by Carly Simon for the 1977 James Bond film. Although the film’s title is The Spy Who Loved Me, the song itself does not repeat that title, making it an unusual entry in the Bond theme catalogue.

The song became a major international hit and received Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy nominations. It plays over the film’s opening title sequence, which was designed by Maurice Binder.

The Spy Who Loved Me starred Roger Moore as Bond, Barbara Bach as Soviet agent Anya Amasova and Curt Jürgens as shipping magnate Karl Stromberg. It is sometimes confused with “For Your Eyes Only,” also performed by a prominent female singer, Sheena Easton, in the 1981 film.
