Which James Bond film features Bond driving an Aston Martin V8 Vantage in London?

The story behind the answer

No Time to Die features Bond driving an Aston Martin V8 Vantage in London.

Released in 2021, No Time to Die brings Daniel Craig’s Bond back to London, where he uses an Aston Martin V8 Vantage during a pursuit. The car recalls the Aston Martin V8 used by Bond in The Living Daylights, which starred Timothy Dalton.

The vehicle is distinct from the DB5, the classic car most closely associated with Sean Connery’s era, and from the DBS used in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. No Time to Die also features the DB5 and the Aston Martin Superleggera, giving the film several important Aston Martin appearances.

Cary Joji Fukunaga directed No Time to Die, Craig’s fifth and final film as Bond. The story begins after Bond has left active service and draws him back into conflict involving Safin and a dangerous biotechnology program. The film was delayed from 2020 before its eventual release.
