Answer
Destiny's Child
Answer
Destiny's Child
Beyoncé joined Destiny’s Child, the group that began under the name Girl’s Tyme.
Girl’s Tyme was a Houston-based girl group formed in the early 1990s. Beyoncé was one of its original members, alongside LaTavia Roberson and other early performers. The group appeared on the television talent program Star Search in 1993, although it did not win.
After changes in membership and management, the group became Destiny’s Child. Its most commercially successful lineup consisted of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. The trio released major hits such as “Say My Name,” “Survivor,” and “Bootylicious.” Destiny’s Child became one of the best-selling female groups in music history before taking an extended hiatus in 2006.
