Answer
Destiny's Child
Answer
Destiny's Child
Beyoncé co-founded Destiny’s Child before becoming a solo star.
The group developed from a Houston singing group originally called Girl’s Tyme. Beyoncé and LaTavia Roberson were among its early members, and the act eventually signed with Columbia Records and adopted the name Destiny’s Child.
The group’s self-titled debut album was released in 1998. Its later lineup of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams became the best-known formation, producing hits such as “Say My Name,” “Survivor,” and “Bootylicious.”
Destiny’s Child went on hiatus in 2002, and the members pursued individual projects. The group reunited for selected performances, including an appearance at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show, but its group recording career remained separate from Beyoncé’s solo work.
