Which Grammy category did Beyoncé’s album Renaissance win at the 2023 awards?

Beyoncé’s album Renaissance won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022, as Beyoncé’s seventh solo studio album. It was presented as the first act of a planned three-act project and drew strongly on dance, house, disco, funk, and electronic music traditions.

At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on February 5, 2023, Renaissance won the dance/electronic album category. Its lead single, “Break My Soul,” also won Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

The award is distinct from Album of the Year, which Renaissance did not win at that ceremony. Beyoncé did, however, become the most awarded artist in Grammy history at the 2023 ceremony after receiving her 32nd Grammy Award.
