Lacoste began collaborating with Supreme in 2017.
The partnership joined Supreme’s New York skatewear identity with Lacoste’s French sportswear heritage. Lacoste is recognized internationally for its crocodile emblem and polo shirts, while Supreme is known for limited releases and a strong connection to skateboarding.

Lacoste should not be confused with other French clothing labels that have appeared in Supreme collaborations. The defining clue is the crocodile-logo sportswear company, whose history began with tennis player René Lacoste and André Gillier in 1933.
