Supreme collaborated with Nike on the Air Humara in a 2017 footwear release featuring multiple colorways.
The Supreme and Nike Air Humara collaboration brought the trail-running-inspired silhouette into Supreme’s streetwear catalogue. The release used bold color blocking and co-branding, continuing a long relationship between Supreme and Nike across running, basketball, and skateboarding footwear.
The Air Humara is often confused with Supreme’s other Nike projects. Supreme released an Air Max 1 collaboration in 2016, while its Air Jordan 1 project belongs to a different period. The Air Humara also differs from the Nike SB Dunk releases that became especially prominent in Supreme’s skateboarding collaborations.
Supreme’s footwear partnerships typically combine a recognizable Nike shape with distinctive materials, colors, and branding. That approach helped make individual Supreme sneaker drops collectible beyond their original use as skate or athletic shoes.
