Which Fleetwood Mac member wrote 'Save Me' from 'Behind the Mask'?

The Fleetwood Mac member who wrote “Save Me” from Behind the Mask was Christine McVie. She also sang the lead vocal, with Eddy Quintela credited as a co-writer.

“Save Me” was recorded for Behind the Mask, Fleetwood Mac’s fifteenth studio album and its first after Lindsey Buckingham’s departure. Guitarists Rick Vito and Billy Burnette joined the lineup for the album, while Stevie Nicks contributed vocals to the broader project.

Released as a single in 1990, “Save Me” became the band’s last US Top 40 hit, reaching number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its polished adult-contemporary sound reflects McVie’s melodic songwriting style and keyboard-centered arrangements. The alternative names are performers associated with the album’s lineup, not the song’s credited writer.
