Which member created the cover art for Fleetwood Mac's 1970 album Kiln House?

The story behind the answer

Christine McVie created the cover art for Fleetwood Mac's 1970 album Kiln House.

At the time, McVie was still known professionally as Christine Perfect and was not yet formally a full member of Fleetwood Mac. She lived with the band at Kiln House, contributed keyboards and backing vocals during the sessions, and supplied the cover drawing. Contractual restrictions meant that her musical contributions were not prominently credited on the original album.

Kiln House was recorded after founding guitarist Peter Green left Fleetwood Mac. The album marked a transitional period, with Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan sharing guitar duties while the band adjusted to Green's absence. McVie joined the touring lineup shortly after the album was completed and soon became central to the band's songwriting and sound.

The main confusion is between cover art and performance credits. Jeremy Spencer dominated much of the record's rock-and-roll material, while Mick Fleetwood was the drummer and band leader, but neither created the cover drawing. Stevie Nicks was not a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1970; she joined with Lindsey Buckingham several years later.
