Which 1990 Fleetwood Mac album was their first studio album after Lindsey Buckingham left in 1987?

The story behind the answer

Fleetwood Mac's first studio album after Lindsey Buckingham left in 1987 was Behind the Mask.

Released on April 9, 1990, Behind the Mask was the band's fifteenth studio album. Buckingham departed shortly after the 1987 release of Tango in the Night, ending the classic five-member lineup for the next studio project. Rick Vito and Billy Burnette joined Fleetwood Mac as guitarists, singers, and songwriters, making the group a six-piece.

The album was recorded in 1989 and 1990, after the new members had toured with Fleetwood Mac. It included songs by Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, Vito, Burnette, and other collaborators. Buckingham did make a limited contribution: he played acoustic guitar on the title track, even though he was no longer a member of the touring lineup.

Tango in the Night is the preceding studio album, not the answer, because Buckingham was still in the band when it was made. Say You Will came much later, in 2003, while Time was released in 1995. Behind the Mask reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom and later earned platinum certification there.
