Which fixture was scheduled for 16:30 on Sunday 23 August 2026 in the 2026–27 Premier League?
Answer
Newcastle United v Liverpool
Newcastle United v Liverpool was scheduled for 16:30 on Sunday 23 August 2026 in the 2026–27 Premier League.
The match took place at St James’ Park and followed the two Sunday fixtures that kicked off at 14:00: Manchester City versus Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion versus Aston Villa. Newcastle and Liverpool therefore provided the final Sunday game of the opening round.
