Evie Frye is the female protagonist who appears alongside Jacob Frye in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Evie and her twin brother Jacob are Assassins operating in London during the Industrial Revolution. They arrive in the city in 1868 and work to weaken Templar control while building an organization known as the Rooks.
Evie is characterized as a methodical investigator and stealth specialist, while Jacob often favors direct confrontation. Players can switch between the two protagonists during much of the campaign, although some missions are assigned to a specific character.
Syndicate's historical cast includes Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, Karl Marx, and Alexander Graham Bell. Evie should not be confused with Lydia Frye, a later descendant featured in a World War I sequence, or Aveline de Grandpré, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation.
