In Assassin's Creed Revelations, which Ottoman capital does Ezio visit while seeking Altaïr's legacy?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio visits Constantinople while seeking Altaïr's legacy.

Constantinople is the main setting of Revelations and the center of Ezio's final major adventure. He travels there to find keys connected to Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's library at Masyaf. The city is presented as a diverse Ottoman capital filled with markets, districts, political factions, and competing Assassin and Templar interests.

The game's Constantinople is set in 1511, during the reign of Sultan Bayezid II. Ezio becomes involved with the Ottoman Assassin network and meets Yusuf Tazim, who leads the local Brotherhood. The story also includes Prince Suleiman, who was historically the future Suleiman the Magnificent.

Constantinople is the historical name used for the city now commonly called Istanbul. The game does not make Cairo or Damascus its principal setting, although both places are connected to the broader history of the Assassins in the series. Revelations also alternates between Ezio's story and Altaïr's later life.
