Which evil Black Lum is central to Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc?

The story behind the answer

André is the evil Black Lum at the center of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. He is the game’s principal antagonist and the force behind the Hoodlum invasion of the Glade of Dreams.

In the story, André begins as a Red Lum who becomes corrupted and transforms into a Black Lum. He converts other Red Lums and helps create the Hoodlums, creatures dressed in animal fur and organized as a destructive army. André’s goal is to corrupt the Heart of the World and use its energy to expand his forces.

A major comic plot turn occurs when Globox accidentally swallows André. Rayman then seeks help from several doctors to remove the Black Lum from his friend. André eventually escapes and allies with Reflux, a powerful Knaaren, for the final confrontation. Rayman ultimately defeats the threat and turns André back into a Red Lum.

The other options belong elsewhere in the Rayman universe. Ly is the fairy who assists Rayman in Rayman 2, Jano is associated with Rayman 2’s Cave of Bad Dreams, and Reflux is a later antagonist and André’s ally rather than the central Black Lum himself.
