Which episode of The Powerpuff Girls features the girls fighting a giant broccoli monster?

“Beat Your Greens” is the Powerpuff Girls episode featuring a giant broccoli monster.

In “Beat Your Greens,” a broccoli-based threat becomes a problem for Townsville, turning the girls’ dislike of the vegetable into the basis for a superhero adventure. The episode uses a familiar childhood food conflict as a playful monster story, a common technique in the series.

The title is a pun on the expression “beat your greens,” connecting the food theme with the girls’ action-oriented mission. It is an example of how the show often builds an exaggerated villain or disaster around an ordinary childhood experience.

The episode should not be confused with “Meat Fuzzy Lumpkins,” which centers on the character Fuzzy Lumpkins, or “Insect Inside,” which involves a different kind of threat. Episode-title mix-ups are common because the original series frequently used short, pun-based names.
