Which episode contains Cersei Lannister's walk of atonement?

The story behind the answer

“Mother’s Mercy” contains Cersei Lannister’s walk of atonement in Game of Thrones. It is the tenth and final episode of season 5, as well as the series’ 50th episode.

After the High Sparrow imprisons Cersei in King’s Landing, she confesses to adultery and other offenses but refuses to admit every accusation against her. Her punishment is a public walk from the Great Sept of Baelor to the Red Keep, during which crowds jeer and throw filth at her.

The episode aired on June 14, 2015, and was directed by David Nutter. Lena Headey performed the close-ups and emotional portions, while Rebecca Van Cleave served as her body double for the nude long shots. The sequence was filmed in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and used visual effects to combine the performances.

The scene is often called Cersei’s “walk of shame,” though the episode and story describe it as a walk of atonement. “High Sparrow” shows the religious leader’s rise, but not the completed punishment; “Mother’s Mercy” is the canonical episode containing the walk itself.
