Sara Davies joined the BBC Dragon's Den programme in 2019 and founded Crafter's Companion.
Davies founded Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at the University of York. The company began after she developed a tool that made it easier for crafters to make envelopes for handmade cards, then expanded into craft products and supplies.
She joined Dragon's Den for its seventeenth series, bringing experience in product development, direct-to-consumer selling and international craft retail. Her appointment made her the youngest female Dragon at the time.
Crafter's Companion is a company name, while Sara Davies is the investor's name. The business should not be confused with the programme's individual pitches: it is Davies's own entrepreneurial venture and predates her television role.
