Which Dragon joined the UK version of Dragons' Den in series 3, in 2006?

Deborah Meaden joined the UK version of Dragons' Den in series 3, in 2006.

Meaden is an English businesswoman and investor who became one of the programme's most recognisable Dragons. Before joining the BBC show, she had built experience in family businesses and consumer-focused ventures, including leisure and holiday operations.

Her television role is often associated with direct questioning about sales, margins, ownership and the value placed on a company. Those subjects are central to the show's negotiations, although an on-screen offer is not necessarily the same as a completed investment.

Meaden's arrival in series 3 places her after the original 2005 lineup. She is therefore not the answer to questions about the Dragons present from series 1, and her start date is distinct from the later arrivals of Kelly Hoppen, Hilary Devey and Sara Davies.
