Which Dragon has appeared in every series of BBC’s Dragons’ Den?

Peter Jones has appeared in every series of the BBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Jones joined the programme when it began in 2005 and became its longest-serving original investor. He is known for backing businesses in technology, retail, food and consumer products, while also questioning entrepreneurs closely about ownership and valuation.

Several other prominent Dragons have served for long periods, including Duncan Bannatyne, Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis. However, they each left the regular panel at different times. This makes Jones the consistent link across the programme’s changing line-ups.

Jones is also a television producer and entrepreneur outside Dragons’ Den. His business interests have included mobile communications, publishing, property and leisure. His continuing presence is one reason viewers often regard him as the show’s central Dragon, even though the panel itself has changed repeatedly.
