Which Doors album includes the song 'Roadhouse Blues'?

The story behind the answer

The Doors included “Roadhouse Blues” on the album Morrison Hotel.

Released on February 9, 1970, Morrison Hotel was The Doors’ fifth studio album. It marked a return to a leaner blues- and rhythm-and-blues-influenced sound after the elaborate brass and string arrangements of The Soft Parade.

“Roadhouse Blues” became one of the album’s best-known tracks and a lasting concert staple. The recording took place over November 4–5, 1969, with producer Paul A. Rothchild pushing the band through numerous takes. Lonnie Mack played bass on the track, while John Sebastian contributed harmonica under the name G. Puglese.

The song is sometimes confused with L.A. Woman because that 1971 album continued The Doors’ blues-rock direction. However, “Roadhouse Blues” belongs to Morrison Hotel. It was also released as the B-side of the “You Make Me Real” single.
