Which Disney film features the song 'Be Our Guest'?

The Disney film featuring the song “Be Our Guest” is Beauty and the Beast.

“Be Our Guest” appears in Disney’s 1991 animated Beauty and the Beast. The enchanted castle’s servants perform the spectacular musical number for Belle, hoping to welcome her after she arrives at the castle. Lumière leads the performance, while plates, cutlery, food and other household objects become part of an elaborate theatrical celebration.

The song was written by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Howard Ashman. It was originally conceived for Belle’s father, Maurice, but the film’s story changed and the number was rewritten to focus on Belle. Its Broadway-style staging helped establish the film’s grand musical identity and became one of Disney animation’s best-known sequences.

The title song from Beauty and the Beast is a separate musical number, although both songs come from the same film. “Be Our Guest” was nominated for the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song, and the song also returned in Disney’s 2017 live-action remake.
