Which Disney film features the character Buzz Lightyear?

Which Disney film features the character Buzz Lightyear? Toy Story features Buzz Lightyear.

Released in 1995, Toy Story was the first feature-length film made entirely with computer-generated animation. Produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures, it follows Andy’s toys, who secretly come to life when humans are absent. Buzz arrives as a space-ranger action figure and immediately threatens Woody’s position as Andy’s favorite toy.

Buzz initially believes he is a real intergalactic hero, not a toy. His mistaken identity drives much of the story, especially after he learns from a television commercial that he is mass-produced merchandise. The character eventually accepts his true nature and becomes Woody’s closest friend and ally.

A common mix-up is the 2022 film Lightyear. That movie explores the fictional space hero who inspired the toy, while Buzz Lightyear’s first appearance as Andy’s toy is in Toy Story. Tim Allen voiced Buzz in the main Toy Story films, while Chris Evans voiced the 2022 version.
