What is the name of the Disneyland attraction that was the first to use Audio-Animatronics?

The story behind the answer

The Disneyland attraction that was the first to use Audio-Animatronics was the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room opened in Adventureland on June 23, 1963. Its cast of singing birds, flowers, tikis, and other figures was controlled by programmed electrical and mechanical systems, allowing characters to speak, sing, and move in synchronization. Disney used the name “Audio-Animatronics” for this technology, which became a signature of later attractions.

The project was originally imagined as a restaurant where guests would dine among serenading birds. It evolved into a theater show, eventually presenting more than 150 animated figures. The attraction was also Disneyland's first fully air-conditioned building, partly because its early computer equipment generated substantial heat.

A common mix-up is naming Pirates of the Caribbean or the Haunted Mansion, both famous Audio-Animatronic attractions. They opened later—Pirates in 1967 and the Haunted Mansion in 1969. The Tiki Room therefore holds the earlier Disneyland milestone, even though Audio-Animatronic figures also appeared in other Disney-related projects around the same period.
