Kelly Rowland joined Beyoncé and Michelle Williams in Destiny’s Child’s 2013 reunion.
The trio reunited during Beyoncé’s halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3, 2013. They performed “Bootylicious,” “Independent Women,” and “Single Ladies,” after which Rowland and Williams left the stage for Beyoncé’s solo set.
Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams are the group’s best-known final lineup. Destiny’s Child had earlier lineups, including LaTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett, and briefly Farrah Franklin, which can create confusion when identifying members associated with the reunion.
The 2013 appearance was not the group’s first reunion as a recording act, but it was their most prominent live reunion in many years. The performance reminded audiences that the trio’s history preceded Beyoncé’s solo career and helped renew interest in the group’s catalog.
