Which Destiny’s Child album contains Beyoncé’s 1999 hit “Say My Name”?

The story behind the answer

Destiny’s Child’s album containing “Say My Name” is The Writing’s on the Wall.

Released on July 27, 1999, The Writing’s on the Wall was the group’s second studio album. At the time, Destiny’s Child consisted of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett.

“Say My Name” became one of the group’s signature songs. Its lyrics describe a relationship in which a partner’s suspicious behavior raises questions about whether he is being honest. The production was created by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and his collaborators.

The album also includes “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Jumpin’, Jumpin’,” and “Bug a Boo.” “Say My Name” won two Grammy Awards in 2001, including Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
