Ethan Hunt is in France when he meets Alanna Mitsopolis in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
The meeting takes place in Paris, where Ethan and his team pursue clues connected to the Apostles and the mysterious John Lark. Alanna Mitsopolis, also known as the White Widow, is an arms broker played by Vanessa Kirby. Her Paris party provides the setting for a major infiltration and identity-based operation.
Paris is one of several international locations used in Fallout. The film also features sequences in Berlin, London, Kashmir, and New Zealand, although some locations stand in for others during production. Alanna is the daughter of Max, the arms dealer played by Vanessa Redgrave in the first Mission: Impossible film.
