Which company published Spyro Reignited Trilogy?
Answer
Activision
Answer
Activision
Activision published Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Released in 2018, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a compilation of remakes of the original PlayStation trilogy: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Toys for Bob developed the remakes, rebuilding the games with new character models, environments, animation, and effects while preserving their core platforming structure.
The compilation launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 13, 2018. Nintendo Switch and Windows versions followed on September 3, 2019. It uses Unreal Engine 4 and includes updated performances, refreshed visuals, and music based on Stewart Copeland's original compositions.
Activision is the publisher associated with the modern remake collection, not the original publisher of the first three games. Sony Computer Entertainment published those original PlayStation titles, while Universal Interactive was involved with earlier Spyro publishing and ownership arrangements. Vivendi Games later owned the franchise before Activision's 2008 merger with Vivendi.
