Which company ported Rayman Origins to OS X?

The story behind the answer

The company that ported Rayman Origins to OS X was Feral Interactive.

Rayman Origins was originally developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft, but its Mac version was handled by Feral Interactive, a British publisher and porting specialist. The OS X edition was released on December 12, 2013, making it one of Feral’s many conversions of major console and PC games for Apple computers.

This distinction matters because the original game had several development partners. Ubisoft Casablanca contributed to Rayman projects and appears among the broader series’ studios, but it was not the company credited with the OS X port. DotEmu was associated with the Android version of Rayman Jungle Run, a separate mobile game, while Gameloft worked on some other Rayman mobile releases.

Feral had already built a reputation for Mac adaptations before Rayman Origins. Its version preserved the game’s hand-drawn visual style, four-player local gameplay, and UbiArt Framework presentation for OS X.
