Topshop partnered with Beyoncé to launch the Ivy Park athletic-wear brand in 2016.
Ivy Park was announced in 2016 as a joint venture between Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green, whose Arcadia Group owned Topshop at the time. The brand combined athletic clothing with fashion styling and was marketed around exercise, confidence, and personal expression.
The first Ivy Park collection launched in April 2016. It included items such as leggings, bodysuits, tops, and jackets, and it was sold through Topshop and other retailers. Beyoncé later became the sole owner of the brand after acquiring the remaining partnership interest in 2018.
A frequent mix-up comes from Ivy Park’s later relationship with Adidas. Beyoncé and Adidas announced a creative partnership in 2018, and a new Ivy Park collection was released with Adidas in 2020. Adidas was therefore a later partner, not the company associated with Ivy Park’s original 2016 launch.
