Which company did Beyoncé originally partner with to launch the Ivy Park clothing line?

The story behind the answer

Beyoncé originally partnered with Topshop to launch the Ivy Park clothing line.

Ivy Park was announced in 2016 as an activewear brand created by Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green, whose Arcadia Group owned Topshop at the time. The brand’s name referred to Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy and Parkwood Park in Houston, where Beyoncé often exercised.

The first Ivy Park collection was released in April 2016. It combined performance clothing with fashion-focused design and was marketed through Topshop’s retail network and other outlets.

In 2018, Beyoncé acquired full ownership of Ivy Park after ending her partnership with Green. She later entered a new partnership with Adidas, which relaunched Ivy Park in 2020. Adidas was therefore a later partner, not the company associated with the line’s original launch.
