Which comedian hosted Chelsea Lately on E!?

Chelsea Handler hosted the E! late-night talk show Chelsea Lately.

The series premiered on July 16, 2007, and combined celebrity interviews with topical comedy and a panel of comedians. Handler created a deliberately informal style, often mixing entertainment news with blunt commentary and self-deprecating jokes. Her role as host made the program one of E!’s most recognizable original series.

Chelsea Lately ended on August 26, 2014, after more than seven years. Its final episode included appearances from several comedians and celebrities associated with the show. Handler later hosted the Netflix talk show Chelsea, which premiered in 2016 and used a broader interview format.

The program is sometimes confused with Handler’s earlier E! series Girls Behaving Badly, but that was a hidden-camera comedy show rather than a late-night talk program. Chelsea Lately’s defining feature was its nightly celebrity interview and comedy-panel structure.
