Which club won the 1994-95 FA Premier League title?
Answer
Blackburn Rovers
Answer
Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers won the 1994–95 FA Premier League title.
Managed by former Liverpool great Kenny Dalglish, Blackburn finished one point ahead of Manchester United. The title was confirmed on the final day: Blackburn lost 2–1 at Liverpool, but United could draw only 1–1 away to West Ham United.
The championship ended Blackburn’s 81-year wait for an English league title. It was also their first Premier League triumph and the first major trophy of owner Jack Walker’s ambitious project, which had transformed the club after his takeover.
Alan Shearer was central to the campaign, scoring 34 league goals to win the Golden Boot. His partnership with Chris Sutton became known as the “SAS,” and together they supplied the goals that kept Blackburn ahead during a tense title race.
