Chelsea scored three goals away from home during the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend.
Chelsea won 3–2 at Fulham on Monday 24 August 2026, scoring three times at Craven Cottage. The victory completed the opening round and gave Chelsea three points from an away match against a London rival.
No other visiting team scored three goals in the opening round. Arsenal scored three at home against Coventry City, while Brentford scored three at home against Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool scored twice away at Newcastle, and Manchester City scored twice at home against Bournemouth.
The distinction is therefore both numerical and situational: Chelsea was the only club to score exactly three goals on the road during the opening weekend. Its 3–2 win also made Fulham–Chelsea the round’s highest-scoring fixture.
