Brentford host Tottenham Hotspur in the last Saturday fixture of the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend.
The match is scheduled for Saturday 22 August 2026 at 17:30 BST. It is the final Saturday game before the opening round continues with three fixtures on Sunday.
Brentford’s home ground is the Gtech Community Stadium, which opened in 2020 and replaced Griffin Park as the club’s stadium. Tottenham Hotspur play their home matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London.
This fixture is distinct from the Monday finale, Fulham versus Chelsea. It is also not the Saturday lunchtime fixture involving Manchester United, who visit Hull City. Brentford versus Tottenham is the late Saturday meeting and the only opening-round match involving Tottenham Hotspur.
