Which club finished second in the 2023-24 Premier League?

Arsenal finished second in the 2023–24 Premier League.

Managed by Mikel Arteta, Arsenal pushed Manchester City to the final day of the season. They finished with 89 points, but City’s victory over West Ham United gave the champions 91, leaving Arsenal as runners-up for the second consecutive season.

Arsenal’s campaign included 28 wins, five draws and five defeats. They were particularly strong in the second half of the season, scoring heavily and producing a late surge that kept the title race alive until the final weekend. Their defensive record was also among the league’s best.

The result secured Champions League qualification and confirmed Arsenal’s return to Europe’s top club competition after a six-year absence. Liverpool finished third, while Aston Villa took fourth; Manchester United finished much lower, so neither of the listed alternatives was the runner-up.
