Chelsea completed Matchweek 1 by visiting Fulham on Monday 24 August 2026.
The fixture was scheduled for 20:00 BST at Craven Cottage. It was the final match of the opening Match Round, following the first games from Friday through Sunday.
Fulham and Chelsea are both London clubs, but their grounds are distinct: Fulham play at Craven Cottage, while Chelsea play at Stamford Bridge. The two stadiums are relatively close in west London, making this a local Premier League meeting.
The Monday conclusion was part of the league’s broadcast scheduling. Matchweek 1 therefore included ten fixtures distributed across four days, beginning with Arsenal against Coventry City and ending with Fulham against Chelsea.
