Beyoncé co-founded Ivy Park with Sir Philip Green in 2016.
Ivy Park was introduced as an athletic clothing brand in April 2016. It was created through a partnership between Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green, whose Arcadia Group owned the Topshop retail chain at the time.
The brand’s name combines “Ivy,” a reference to Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy and the Roman numeral IV, with “Park,” reflecting the outdoor and athletic setting associated with the clothing. The line included sportswear, footwear, and accessories.
Beyoncé later acquired full ownership of Ivy Park in 2018. In 2019, the brand entered a global partnership with Adidas, which expanded the clothing and footwear range. Adidas was therefore a later business partner, not the company that originally co-founded Ivy Park with Beyoncé.
