Beyoncé co-founded Ivy Park with Topshop in 2016.
Ivy Park was introduced as an activewear brand created through a partnership between Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia Group, which owned Topshop at the time. The brand’s name combines “Ivy,” associated with Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy, and “Park,” reflecting the idea of outdoor exercise and movement.
The first Ivy Park collection launched in April 2016 and included athletic clothing designed for training and leisurewear. Beyoncé was involved in the brand’s creative direction and public image, making it an extension of her performance and fashion identity.
The partnership later changed. In 2018, Beyoncé acquired full ownership of Ivy Park after ending the relationship with Green and Arcadia. Adidas then partnered with Beyoncé for Ivy Park in 2018, with products launching under the Ivy Park Adidas arrangement in 2020. Thus Topshop was the original 2016 partner.
