Which city hosted the 2024 Summer Paralympics?

The story behind the answer

Paris hosted the 2024 Summer Paralympics.

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games were held in France from 28 August to 8 September 2024. They followed the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and used many of the same venues, creating a shared sporting festival in the French capital and surrounding areas.

Paris became the second city to host both the Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics twice, after London. Paris had previously hosted the Olympic Games in 1900 and 1924, while the 2024 edition marked its return a century after the 1924 Games.

The host city is sometimes confused with the wider metropolitan region because several events took place outside central Paris. Versailles, for example, hosted equestrian events, while other venues were located in nearby communes. The Games were nevertheless officially the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
