Which Beyoncé tour began in 2023 and supported the album Renaissance?

The Renaissance World Tour began in 2023 and supported Beyoncé’s album Renaissance. The tour opened on May 10, 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden, and concluded on October 1, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri. It was Beyoncé’s first solo concert tour since The Formation World Tour in 2016.

The set list centered on Renaissance, released in 2022, whose dance, house, disco, and funk influences shaped the show’s sound and visual atmosphere. Songs such as “Break My Soul,” “Alien Superstar,” and “Cuff It” appeared alongside selections from Beyoncé’s earlier albums.

The tour featured a large silver robotic horse inspired by the cover art and became one of the highest-grossing concert tours in history. A concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, premiered in December 2023 and combined performance footage with behind-the-scenes material.

The tour title is sometimes shortened to Renaissance Tour, but Renaissance World Tour is the standard official name. It should not be confused with the Formation World Tour, which promoted Lemonade seven years earlier.
