Which Beyoncé song is on the soundtrack of the 2019 film The Lion King and features a duet with Childish Gambino?

“Can You Feel the Love Tonight” appears on The Lion King soundtrack in a duet by Beyoncé and Childish Gambino.

The recording was made for the 2019 remake of The Lion King, in which Beyoncé voiced the adult Nala and Donald Glover voiced Simba. The song originally appeared in Disney’s 1994 animated film, where it was written by Elton John and Tim Rice.

For the 2019 film, Beyoncé and Glover recorded a new version of the classic song. It was included on The Lion King: The Gift, an album curated by Beyoncé and inspired by the movie.

“Spirit,” another Beyoncé song connected with the 2019 film, is a separate track and was nominated for major awards. That distinction matters because Spirit is often named when the question asks for Beyoncé’s Lion King duet with Childish Gambino.
