Which Beyoncé song features the rapper Kendrick Lamar?

Beyoncé’s song “America Has a Problem” features Kendrick Lamar on a remix.

The original track appears on Beyoncé’s 2022 album Renaissance. Kendrick Lamar joins the version released as a remix in 2023, adding a new rap verse and extending the song’s commentary on desire, wealth, and American society.

The collaboration was notable because Beyoncé and Lamar had previously worked together on “Freedom,” from her 2016 album Lemonade. That earlier song is sometimes mistakenly named when listeners are asked about their Renaissance-era collaboration.

“America Has a Problem” draws on dance, house, and electronic influences, fitting Renaissance’s broader celebration of Black and queer club-music traditions. The Kendrick Lamar remix gave the track a distinct hip-hop dimension without changing its place within the album’s dance-oriented sound.
