Which Beyoncé song features her daughter Blue Ivy in its official video?

“Brown Skin Girl” features Blue Ivy in its official video.

The song was released on The Lion King: The Gift, Beyoncé’s 2019 album inspired by Disney’s film The Lion King. It includes vocals from Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, WizKid, and Saint Jhn, and celebrates the beauty of girls and women with darker skin.

The music video, directed by Jenn Nkiru, includes appearances by Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Campbell, and Kelly Rowland. Blue Ivy’s participation made the song especially notable as a family collaboration rather than only a parental reference.

“Brown Skin Girl” also received a Grammy Award for Best Music Video, making Blue Ivy one of the youngest Grammy winners after being credited on the recording. The song should not be confused with “Blue,” another Beyoncé track that references her daughter.
