Which Beyoncé song features her daughter Blue Ivy Carter in its vocals and music video?

Beyoncé’s song “Brown Skin Girl” features her daughter Blue Ivy Carter in its vocals and music video.

The song appears on The Lion King: The Gift, Beyoncé’s 2019 album inspired by Disney’s The Lion King. It includes vocals from Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Wizkid, and Saint Jhn, and celebrates dark-skinned girls and women through affirming lyrics and imagery.

The music video was released in 2020 as part of the visual album Black Is King. It features Blue Ivy alongside Beyoncé and a wide range of Black women, models, dancers, and performers. Blue Ivy also received songwriting credit for the track.

The song won the BET Her Award in 2020 and contributed to Blue Ivy becoming one of the youngest Grammy winners after she was credited on the recording. It is separate from “Spirit,” Beyoncé’s solo single from the same Lion King project.
